Extended Hours Service
Following the successful launch in 2009 of this service we have been reviewing this service to ensure we provide the best care to our patients, within the limitations of the national terms of this optional GP service.
With effect from 11th July 2011 we will offer more GP appointments before 08:00 am, with this service being provided by 2 GPs both seeing patients from 07:15 am. The evening sessions will provide appointments with a GP until 08:00 pm and a nurse until 07:45 pm.
This means our amended opening hours will be:

| Wednesday | 8:30 am to 6:00 pm | |
| Thursday | 7:15 am to 6.00pm | |
| Friday | 8:30 am to 6:00 pm |
The Surgery doors will be open during these clinics but please note that any urgent need for medical care will continue to be provided by the Portsmouth Out of Hours Service on (0300 300 2012).
We will continue to regularly review this service in line with patient comments together with that provided on the regular national MORI surveys on General Practice.
